Kamiyubetsu Tulip Park

Colorful tulips of 200 varieties vividly bloom in the vast 7 ha garden.From May 1 to early June every year, when the late spring comes to the Okhotsk area, the Tulip Fair is held in the park, attracting many tourists.

This event is staged every year at Tulip Park. Some blooming tulips of 200 varieties in the park include those named after central characters of fairytales, such as “Pinocchio,” “Don Quixote” and “Aladdin,” those directly imported from the Netherlands, the home of tulips, and other rare varieties. Please take your time to enjoy appreciating the colorful world, with the vast park as its canvas, in the midst of natural grandeur under the clear blue sky of Hokkaido!
